Haven't heard of Dutch underwear designer Marlies Dekkers? You should have. Her bold, directional yet incredibly sexy and flattering designs have caught the attention of celebs and fashionistas alike - with a-listers from Victoria Beckham to Lady GaGa to Cheryl Cole seen sporting the styles.
The peekaboo cuts, directional details and intricate design seem almost too pretty to hide underneath clothes. Make like Victoria Beckham and pair the 'Dame de la Paris' bra with a high waisted pencil skirt and jacket over? Or try the 'Symphony of Lights' longline bralet with a floaty skirt?
My personal favourie range is the 'Dame de la Paris' in black, I own two of these styles and tend to pick up one or two from the sesonal ranges throughout the year, especially when the prices are reduced at the end of season sales, who can resist once they hit the £40 mark?!
Even if the 'underwear as outerwear' isn't quite your style & your undies are to be kept purely for your eyes only, its still well worth investing in the quality pieces purely for the amazing fit and flattering shape.
