My somewhat unhealthy obsession with this glamorous Arkansas space, which interior designers Chris & Anne Laidler call home, is sort of justified with the fact the building materials & furtnire were all sourced locally or made domestically. Items that they didn't need were donated to Habitat for Humanity. The results? A home that is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) platinum-certified yet still looks stylish. Obsessed.

Fashion Inspiration: First Look | Inside the new French Vogue

Where French Vogue goes, everyone follows. The glossy's September issue (featuring separate covers of Kate Moss, Lara Stone, and Daria Werbowy in the same Dolce & Gabbana dress) hits newsstands in Paris earlier this month and inside are Emmanuelle Alt's inaugural design tweaks since becoming editor-in-chief last year.

A new month, the peak of summer, August - is upon us. I cannot wait to spend the month soaking up the last of the British rays, getting rather overly excited at London 2012, and primarily buying too many clothes for a last minute September escape . . .

Saying she's a fashion aficionado just doesn't quite do her justice. And the best part? And she seems to do it all (with Birkin in hand) while raising three kids. Really.

Inspired Interior: Sarah Davison

I'm obsessed with these pictures I've found of this apartment designed by Sarah Davison. The neutral sofa and Harry Bertoia diamond chair mixed with ethnic pieces like the ikat pillows and Moroccan chandelier keep the neutral space looking young and fresh. The elecletic mix of old and new compliments the architexture but makes it feel incredibly current. Renters - take note, this is how you decorate with white walls.

Book Club: Marrakesh by Design

I love pouring over a beautiful décor book, my new and favourite being Marrakesh by Design: A Journey into Moroccan Style by fellow blogger from My Marrakesh, Maryam Montague.

I've been meaning to share my love for this book for a few weeks now, yet felt its quite fitting to post today. A year ago today, the 15th June, was my second day in Marrakesh and the day I first explored the souks - truly falling head over heels in love with Morocco.
