Tom Ford certainly knows how to
make women look beautiful. Without even mentioning his expertly cut dresses in
amazing fabrics, his beauty line has brought an entire new dimension to the
high end of the beauty counters. SS12 brings the first seasonal beauty
collection, and in the designers characteristic style - its like nothing else
out this season.
The limited edition collection comprises of; four cream
colours for the eyes, four nail varnishes, two bronzers and a golden
lip lacquer. I've had my fun playing with the range & the five
favourite products of the collection are:
Tom Ford Beauty Nail Lacquers in
Gold Haze and Burnt
Topaz (£25 each). As always, these are the perfect nail varnish formula.
Sure to last for days on end, these colours contain mirrored pearls
to achieve that molten metallic effect. All colours in the range
correspond with the cream eyeshadows.
Tom Ford Beauty Cream Colour Pot
for Eyes in Platinum (£28). These cream
shadows add glisten like no other. A grey to create the perfect base for a smoky eye.
Tom Ford Beauty Bronzing Powder in Gold
Dust (£65). An exclusively formulated blend of suntone, amber and black
tourmaline crystals combined with unique pigments - this has got to be the best
bronzer in beauty halls at present. It flawlessly highlights with a natural yet
perfectly sunkissed finish. Once I hit the pan on my NARS Laguna, this will be
in my everyday beauty bag.
Tom Ford Beauty Lip Lacquer in
Gold Rush (£25). No where near as scary as
it looks, the pearl particles throughout the lustrous gloss creates a
reflective shine and super-soft feel. Amazing on a nude lip to finish
off the bronzed summer look.
