The Escape Boutique B&B is a classic Victorian house with stained glass windows and ornate carved fireplaces, the building has been transformed with neutral colours, vintage furniture and glass chandeliers to create a contemporary urban haven.
The majority of the nine bedrooms have sea views, and every detail is of the highest quality. The beds enjoy pocked sprung mattresses, rooms are painted in Farrow & Ball colours, the sheets are the finest Egyptian cotton, goose-down quilts and the bathrooms feature either roll-top baths or drench showers. Gadgets & gizmos are aplenty with WiFi throughout, Blu Ray DVD players, BOSE iPod docks and the Boudoir suite features flickering LED wallpaper. Yes, really.
Whilst the B&B doesn't have a restaurant, breakfast is a feast of fancy local sausages and serious strong coffee. Enjoy a mix of continental fare and a good old fashioned full Welsh, which is really something special! The pretty tiered garden is perfect to walk it off in.
The B&B is an easy stroll from the shops of the seaside resort and the stunning Blue Flag beaches. For a candle-lit dinner, head to the nearby Osborne House, a romantic Victorian bistro in the promenade.
Rooms start from a mere £89 per night, which I think is excuse enough to escape to the mountain and beach views, but within the glamorous surrounds of the B&B.

this isn't far from my hometown! I think I need to book it for a long relaxing weekend for one so I can spend some time getting back into my writing and blogging after work is done for the summer months.... Thanks for the review! xoxo
