Living in a far from tropical British climate, I rely massively on jeans throughout the year. Unfortunately, my version of summer denim isn't quite the same as shown on she shores of Malaysia in the latest H&M summer shoot....
I adore light prints, light denim, light anything to be perfectly honest when shopping for summer attire. This Jil Sander paisley print jersey t-shirt (£200) teams perfectly with light denim cut offs, like these Ksubi hotpants (£150). Add simple, goes-with-everything sandals, my favourites are these Topshop High Gladiators (£30) and gold jewellery to complete. Voila. In thirty seconds flat.
I love rocking a tonal look from head-to-toe, especially in light hues which always looks stylish and classic. J Brand are my go-to for arse loving, leg flattering and expertly cut skinnies; these baby pink cropped beauties (£190) are no exception. At £355 this Roberto Cavalli tee is bordering on the horrifically expensive side of the t-shirt scale, yet see the beautiful crystal print neckline in person & you'll also be justifying yourself to your accountant, I promise. The Isabel Marant Rio sandals (£500) add some contemporary cool to the classic look. Finish off with a classic bag like this one from Reiss (£255).
Lesson #652 in mixing print - don't be scared! Tone the look town with simple, stylish accessories and you'll effortlessly scrape the belle of the ball title. Stella McCartney Hawaii Print T-Shirt (£155). One of the best collaborations to come from 2012 - Diane Von Furstenberg vs Current/Elliot = red hot printed jeans. These blue printed babes are available at Net a Porter (£235). These Zara sandals are a steal at £29.99, then restore the equilibrium with an Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag (£695).
