I love pouring over a beautiful décor book, my new and favourite being Marrakesh by Design: A Journey into Moroccan Style by fellow blogger from My Marrakesh, Maryam Montague.
I've been meaning to share my love for this book for a few weeks now, yet felt its quite fitting to post today. A year ago today, the 15th June, was my second day in Marrakesh and the day I first explored the souks - truly falling head over heels in love with Morocco.
The book includes all the exotic splendour that is Marrakesh, including the luxurious mix of rich colours, billowing fabrics and mosaic tiles. Also included is an exploration of Moroccan architecture, styling tips and even recipes for at-home hammam beauty treatments such as olive oil hair and face masks!
I cannot wait to spend a few hours this weekend flipping through the colourful pages and once again becoming lost in the magic that is Morocco.
