The Rachelle Edit: The New Essentials | The Leather Pants

Creating effortless  chic looks day in-day out requires a wardrobe which is an edit of definitive pieces. I've selected my ten favourite pieces which are hardworking fashion essentials that wont just see you through Autumn, but for any occasion throughout the entire year.
Incorporate a sleek pair of leather pants into your weekend repitoire for supermodel chic in without a second thought. {read on for what to buy and how to style them..}
I suggest you first invest in the basics, tight fitting-matte effect leather which are as comfortable as they are sexy. Once you fall in love with your new basic, up the ante to different colours (always darker hues) and different finishes; high-shine and suede effect are a good place to start.
{from left to right} the ultimate in leather leggings, feather light, sag-free and more comfortable than your favourite onesie, The Row Moto Stretch Leggings are all round winners, apart from at price. If you have the £1,360 pricetag avialable - BUY THEM. - Helmut Lang Patina Stretch Leggings (£730) - Gucci Stretch Leather Skinny Pants (£1,320) - The Row Comet Panelled Leather Pants (£1,110) - Haider Ackermann Suede Leggings (£955) - Joseph Stretch Leather Leggings with Zips (£1,115) - These are my favourite additional pair, if you like. The dirty-khaki hue, tassel detailing and glove-fit are so chic, Les Chiffoniers Zip Embellished Stretch Leather Leggings (£750) - Helmut Lang Leather Leggings (£570).
o n t h e h i g h s t r e e t . . .  Zara do skin-tight coated trousers so well, I scored an amazing leather-effect of the aforementioned The Row leggings for £18 at Topshop and Missguided has a ton of leather-look leggings in every colour and finish you could imagine for a matter of pennies.

Regular Rachelle readers know how much I love mixing textures, and leather bottoms provide the perfect base to mix up your layers and keep warm.
{from left to right} A.P.C. Silk Shirt (£250) - obsessed with this clutch, it solves every single 'tan or black accessories?' question, Marni Two-Tone Leather Clutch (£460) - Roberto Cavalli Clip Earrings (£520)  -Chan Luu Gold Drop Earrings (£270) - Gucci Rabbit-Felt Fedora (£255) - CLU Silk Trimmed Wool-Blend Sweater (£250) - Alexander Wang Leather Ankle Boots (£625) - Stella McCartney Faux Leather Foldover Clutch (£495) - Cain Washed Silk Vest (£130) - Topshop 'Galactic' Studded Courts (£65) - Diane von Furstenberg 'Carolina' Lips Clutch (£275) - Michael Kors Chornograph Rose Gold Watch (£220) - Kain Classic Silk-Blend T-Shirt (£80). rachelle xo
